According to him, the power managers of the country felt and rightly too in 1999 that power should be ceded to the Southwest owing to the injustice done to Chief MKO Abiola.

He observed that the arrangement saw to the two political parties then, Peoples Democratic Party and All Peoples Party ceding their tickets to the Southwest leading to the emergence of Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo as president.

Eze argued that since the South West has had eight years at the apex political office and eight years again as Vice President, and the South South has had six years on the saddle, the important thing to do is to cede the presidency to the South East.

The Coordinator of Peter Obi for President in Imo State insisted that his principal has proven to be the best candidate contesting for 2023 presidency of the country.

According to Eze, Obi had shown a good example by placing Anambra State on the path of growth and prosperity.

He maintained that Obi knows not only the problems of the country but also has solutions for the challenges.

Eze debunked report that Peter Obi was angling for the position of running mate to former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku.

Callers to the programme namely Livy Unigwe and Onyekwere Nwamirioma also eulogized Obi for what they term the good governance he provided in Anambra State when he served as governor of the state.

They advised Ohanaeze Ndigbo to pick Obi as one of the candidates should they heed to the advice to prune down the number of presidential aspirants from the South East region.
