The abducted traditional ruler of Ihitte Ihube Autonomous Community in the Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, HRH Eze Paul Ogbu has been found dead.

Unknown gunmen who kidnapped Eze Ogbu on Sunday morning had set his palace and vehicle ablaze.
Our correspondent gathered that a youth leader in the community who was also kidnapped alongside the slain monarch was also found dead.
The traditional ruler is billed to be buried Thursday, December 16 as his corpse was conveyed to his kingdom on Wednesday.

Sources confided in our correspondent on Thursday that it was his colleague traditional ruler, Eze Acho Ndukwe, who was kidnapped alongside Ogbu that disclosed that their abductors killed Ogbu.
A joint security team comprising army, police and DSS rescued Eze Ndukwe on Monday and arrested 30 suspects.
Our source said, “Eze Paul Ogbu and the youth leader have been found dead. Eze Acho Ndukwe, revealed that the criminals killed Eze Paul Ogbu in his presence. Security operatives went back to the criminals camp with the indigenes and the corpse of the traditional ruler was identified lying in a ditch. He will be buried today which is Thursday.”
Recall that Ogbu and Ndukwe were kidnapped on Sunday with their vehicles and palaces razed.
Ndukwe was rescued on Monday after combined security operatives raided the criminals’ den in Orsu Local Government Area and Uli in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
