A family of five who were kidnapped during the Easter celebration in Ondo State have been reportedly released by their abductors after requesting for a nice meal, with suya and wine as well as an undisclosed amount of money.
It will be recalled that Nigerdeltaconnect had earlier reported the abduction of the family who were kidnapped while returning to their base in Abuja.
It was gathered that Olisa Ibrahim, who was kidnapped alongside his wife and three children in their hometown in Ajowa-Akoko in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, was said to have been freed after a ransom of an unspecified amount and food items were collected by the kidnappers.
Olisa, while recounting the horrific encounter, stated that the abductors requested for cooked meal, wine, suya, among other edibles as part of the condition to secure their release.
According to Daily Post, the requested food items were said to have been provided before they were released.
