The former senator and frontline Rivers State governorship aspirant of All Progressives Congress, Magnus Abe has debunked reports he has withdrawn from party gubernatorial primary
Abe made the statement in a press conference in Port Harcourt today.
The former senator said he believes that the party is not owned by one man and nobody can convince him against his wish.
He said he was selected by the people of Rivers State to represent them.
The APC chieftain reiterated that he is still committed to the party, adding that any primary that is bias and fraud will not be acceptable by him
He said the will of the people of Rivers State is more important to him.
Recall that former Senator and a frontline Rivers State governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Magnus Abe, had withdrawn from the party gubernatorial primary election holding Thursday (today).

Abe ally and former Chief of Staff, Rivers State Government House, Tony Okocha, made this known in a statement sent to newsmen in Port Harcourt today.
Abe has purchased the All Progressives Congress expression of intent and nomination forms for the 2023 governorship election in Rivers State.
According to him, the people of Rivers State were more interested in effective governance that would return power to the people, rather than politics.
Some APC stakeholders had after a recent meeting in Abuja adopted Lagos based businessman, Tonye Cole, as the party’s consensus candidate in the state.
Abe said, “I have already purchased my form to run for the primary election in our party, APC, and it will interest you to know that Rivers people from all across, contributed money to support me to get that form.
“Rivers people from every divide, every ethnic group, every political affiliation, every religious affiliation that you can think of, Muslims, Christians, people across the State, put in N20,000, some N1 million. They brought money to help me cross that barrier.
