Access Bank Plc says it will award customers approximately N600 million in the DiamondXtra season 13 promo, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote savings culture and reward its customers.
The 12-month promotion, which begins this weekend, will include a recurring wage for life, a Business Grant, Free Rent, an education grant, and various cash prize categories from its monthly and quarterly draws.
This was announced by the bank at the media launch of DiamondXtra season 13 in Lagos. According to the bank, the ad has attracted 2.5 million consumers over the last 12 seasons, with over 22,000 personally impacted.
“We have been rewarding and changing the lives of our customers for 12 years, and we are pleased to inaugurate the 13th season of this great scheme,” said Victor Etuokwu, executive director, Access Bank Personal Banking. One of the ways the bank adds value and addresses the demands of its loyal customers is through the DiamondXtra incentive program. The reward plan has been refreshed and reloaded with the start of this new season to generate winners every day.
DiamondXtra is one of the most popular deposit products in the country, according to him, since it not only encourages consumers to save money and earn interest on their savings, but it also rewards them as they save with life-changing prizes.
Mr Robert Giles, Senior Banking Advisor, Retail, said, “Diamond Xtra was designed from the outset by our clients themselves.”
He revealed that the customers indicated that while the return on savings was low, the reason for saving was to change and better their lives. Since then, the bank has distributed over Five Billion Naira in prize money via daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly drawings. They have provided college subsidies, business awards, and a lifetime salary.
Season 13 was designed by over 600,000 customers who were surveyed to inform them of the changes they want to see. Our customers said they want to keep Salary for life, Business Grant and Free Rent. The bank’s customers also wanted lots of smaller prizes so everybody has a chance to win. Giles added that the bank was taking Diamond Xtra into every neighbourhood so that people can see the difference and share it with friends.
