Veteran Nollywood Actress, Kate Henshaw, celebrates her birthday.
The “never ageing” actress took to her social media page to share amazing photos to mark her 50th birthday.
She thanked God for his goodness and mercies upon her life and for helping her overcome challenges; thus bringing her this far.
She wrote: “Never would have made it this far without the King of Kings…
The laughter and joy in my life testify of His goodness and mercy over me…..
I am highly favoured!!
This I know who am I that thou art mindful of me??”

Kate Henshaw was born in Cross River, she is the oldest of four children. She attended St. Mary private school in Adele, Lagos, and was later admitted to the Federal Government Girl College, Calabar for her secondary school education.
She spent one year at the University of Calabar undergoing remedial studies and then majored in Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Lab Science afterwards, LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital) in Lagos.
Just before becoming an actress, Kate Henshaw had worked as a model and featured in various commercials. She made her debut in Nollywood when she auditioned for the lead role in a major Nollywood movie ‘When the Sun Sets’ and was chosen for the role. The talented actress has starred in over forty-five, 45 Nollywood movies.
In 2008 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie “Stronger than Pain”.
She was also nominated for “Best Actress in a Leading Role” at the African Movie Academy Award in 2018, for her performance in the movie “Roti”.
