Following the victory of Kingdom Kroseide in the Nigerian Idol Season 6 musical competition, Bayelsans have shifted their attention to another competition called the Voice Nigeria, which is currently running.
Interestingly, a Bayelsan, Naomi Oyintare Mac-Ebiama popularly known as Naomi Mac is among the contestants.
Leading the army of supporters for Naomi Mac is the former Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tonye Isenah, who is addicted in championing the cause of youths from the state in different spheres, especially education, arts and entertainment.
Isenah, who is representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 1 in the assembly, took to his verified Facebook page on Monday to declare support for Naomi, urging Bayelsans to do same just the way they did for Kingdom.
“Ok guys, just been told that, this is Ayamasa-born Bayelsan, who is in the Voice Nigeria. It’s my resolve to always support our youths in the best possible way I can. Let’s make history again, pour in the votes as much as you can afford. Cheers,” he said.
Isenah’s admonition was well received as many people assured him of their votes for Naomi and praised him for his consistent support for Bayelsa and Ijaw youths who are aspiring to be great.
Naomi Mac has so far, warmed her way into the hearts of judges and fans alike, because of her voice and outstanding performances since the start of the show.
The 30-year-old talented singer, songwriter and stage performer broke into the Nigerian music industry after being First Runner Up in The Nigerian Idol in 2015.
Naomi, was born into a music-loving family, started singing at the age of 6, and had her first performance at the age of 7 with her sibling Grace Mac, who featured in MTN Project Fame in 2012 and Layefa Mac, in local churches in Lagos and the Western part of Nigeria for over 10 years.
Since her breakthrough in 2015, she has been featured in major shows and collaborated with other artistes, including Adekunle Gold in one of her single “My Heart” and also collaborated with Pheelz on “Ori Mi“.
The popular singing talent show, ‘The Voice Nigeria’, has begun its fire performances as the contest gets to the live stage which is one of the critical stages in the reality show.
Twelve talents are already through to the Live Stage episode, and public votes will save one talent out of each team every week while the rest are evicted.
