Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has allocated portfolios to commissioners and special advisers that were sworn-in on Monday.
The Governor announced the portfolios during the state executive council meeting held on Wednesday in Akure, the state capital.
The Commissioners and their ministries are; Adefarati Adegboyega Adeyemi – Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs; Ademola-Olateju Bamidele – Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations; Adeyanju Yetunde – Water and Sanitation; Agagu Sunday Olufemi – Education; Ajaka Banji Awolowo – Health and Akinlosotu Adewale – Culture and Tourism.
Others include, Akinwalire Adekunle Sunday – Environment; Aribo Olayato – Agric and Forestry; Fagbemi Omolola Juliana – Commerce, Industries and Cooperatives; Igbasan Emmanuel Duyile – Budget and Economic Planning; Obe Rasaq Ayodele – Energy, Mines And Mineral Resources; Ologun Bamidele – Youths and Sports; Rt. Hon (Barr.) Alhaji Olotu-Aburumaku Abdulfatai – Physical Planning and Urban Development and Osadahun Juliana Adebunmi – Women Affairs and Social Development.
The Special Advisers include: Dare Aragbaiye – Union Matters and Special Duties; Hon. Babatunde Kolawole – Rural Development; Adeyeye Jibayo John – Political and Legislative Matters; Ategbole Olusegun – Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations; Prof. Faduyile Francis – Health; Falana Olamide Juliana – Gender and Ilawole Olawunmi Juliet – Education; Ogunleye Tobi Felix – Transport.
Others include, Oseni Oyeniyi – Environment; Sunmi Smart-Francis – Entrepreneurship; Bunmi Ademosun – Intergovernmental Relations while Akeredolu’s biological son, Babajide Akeredolu was assigned Director-General, Project Pricing Implementation and Monitoring Unit.
Akeredolu had charged the new cabinet members to show leadership in whatever positions they find themselves and shun acts which stand at variance with the expectations of the people.
