A few days after his inauguration for a second term, Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has pronounced his first appointments.
Akeredolu has announced Mr. Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff and Mr. Richard Olabode, as Chief Press Secretary.
The governor made this public via his Senior Special Assistant on Research and Documentation, Kunle Adebayo, in Akure, on Monday.
Ale who served as chief of staff to the Governor in his first term will be returning to the same office, Olabode was the Special Assistant to the governor on New Media, received an elevation to become the governor’s CPS.
The Statement read:
“As a key move to hit the ground running in service of the people in his second tenure, the Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), has approved the appointment of Chief Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff, while Mr. Olabode Richard, is appointed as Chief Press Secretary to the governor.
“Chief Olugbenga Ale is a retired permanent secretary of the Ondo State Civil Service while Mr. Olabode Richard, is a practicing broadcast Journalist.”
According to reports from Punch, the Appointments are to take place with immediate effect
