The Governorship candidate in the 2015 election under the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State, Dakuku Peterside says he has come back to consult with the people and will speak to them base on the consultation.
Peterside who is former Director General of Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency, NIMASA, disclosed this at Port Harcourt international airport shortly after his arrival said the greater interest of the people will always guide his actions.
He appealed to his supporters not to be discouraged as there is hope for them, added that this is a critical phase in his aspiration because he know that he carries the dreams and aspirations of many with him.
He assured that he will act with the best interest of their party, the state and the nation, saying that it will not be about his personal ambition.
Peterside boasted that he is a team player and a product of the moral, material and spiritual contributions of family and friends, adding that he is a Conscious of the place of history and posterity in political choices.

He said his mission is to consult with his people since it is the people who gave him the impetus to aspire in the first place.
The former Director General of Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency, NIMASA noted that this is a critical phase in his aspiration because he knows that carrying the dreams and aspirations of many, is one thing he can assure that he will act with the best interest of APC, Rivers State and to the nation.
The former governorship aspirant further thanked the people of Rivers State for coming out in your numbers, in solidarity, to welcome him home.
“A lot has happened in the last couple of days. There have been a myriad of actions and reactions and many of you have been troubled.
“Most of you who know me, and I believe the majority have followed my decisions in the past, acknowledge the fact that the greater interest of Rivers State will always guide my actions. It has never been about myself or my ambition. But had always been Rivers, first”.
