The newly sworn-in Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, yesterday in Awka, the state capital, announced the appointment of three more persons into various positions in his government.

The new appointees and their portfolios are Mr Ernest Ezeajuyi as the new Chief of Staff; Mr Nwora Madiebo as Chairman, Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, AIRS, and AVM Ben Chiobi (Retd.) as Special Adviser on Security.
This is coming a couple of days after Governor Soludo made his first appointments, which were Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, who was retained as Secretary to the State Government, SSG. The other appointees include Dr. Chukwudi Okoli as the Accountant General of the State; and Mr Chinedu Nwoye, popularly known as Glamour, as the State Chief of Protocol/Deputy Chief of Staff.
In a related development, a group under the aegis of “All Progressives Grand Alliance Media Warriors Forum” yesterday, also in Awka, applauded Governor Soludo for the appointments, noting that the governor has used his first appointment of Principal Officers in his administration to shame critics that accused him of abandoning those that worked for his election as Governor.
The National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe described the appointments of Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Dr Chukwudili Okoli and Mr Chinedu Nwoye as Principal Officers in Soludo’s cabinet as a welcomed development.
He remarked that Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, who was reappointed Secretary to the State Government, coordinated the Soludo Campaign organization as the Director General; while Nwoye Chinedu is a die-hard supporter of the governor.

He also disclosed that Nwoye was the brain behind the formidable Soludo Support Group and he used the organization’s platform to mobilize massive support for the election of Soludo as Governor of the state.
Recall that Governor Soludo said last week that he would be sending the list of commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly this week for confirmation.
