Market Women Association in Arigidi Community in Akoko Northwest Local Government Area of Ondo State has ordered the closure of markets and shops on Friday 9th of July, 2021 to honour the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua.
TB Joshua’s burial has been slated for Friday in Lagos.
The late cleric hailed from Arigidi and he had been providing support for the needy in the community and its environs.
Prophet Balogun Joshua died on Saturday at the age of 57, one week to his 58th birthday.
Niger Delta Connect gathered that he worked for restoration of electricity in the area, provided scholarships for indigent students, gave money and food to the elderly and widows.
The President of Iyalode of Akoko, Agnes Dada who spoke with Niger Delta Connect described the Pastor as a good man, with good heart.
She said Besides Arigidi, other markets in the whole of Akoko have been ordered to shut its markets to mourn a man they regarded as a father. She added that it would take a long time to heal the wounds of TB Joshua’s passing.
Agnes, said the late TB Joshua philanthropic gesture extended to widows, orphans and disabled persons in many communities apart from Arigidi.
