It was gathered on Monday that the victim was killed by the bandits very close to a spot where the popular Abuja Ajowa bound driver, Toyin Mallah was killed recently on his way from Abuja.

The victim Abayomi Olukoju was said to be on his way to his station on his new motorbike when the incident happened.

Travellers coming from Abuja discovered his lifeless body in his pools of blood which was later reported to soldiers and police.

Meanwhile, the corpse has been removed and deposited in a morgue.

When contacted the Police Area Commander, ASP Muri Okunola and Okeagbe Divisional Police Officer, SP Paulinus Onnah confirmed the incident.

Meanwhile, the entire Ajowa community is in tension mood because of the untimely deaths of both Late driver and Abayomi olukoju.

In the same vein, operatives of the Ondo State Amotekun Corps have arrested numerous cows that allegedly violated the state’s anti-grazing law in Akure.

The state Commander of the corps, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, made this known while speaking with Journalists on Monday.

The commander also stated that the directive of the state government that all herders should register with the state government for identification and avoid destroying peoples’ farm land in the state is still in operation.

“We engaged the services of local hunters and vigilantes to join our men and patrol the forest.

“Substantially, we were also able to drive out the bad guys in recent times. You will find out that most of the kidnap cases you read about nowadays are at the borders”, he stated.
