Bandits: Seven persons killed in a fresh attack in Kaduna

Bandits kill seven persons in a fresh attack in Kaduna. It was gathered that the Bandits attacked Kajinjir and Rago villages in Igabi and Katuru, kajuru LGA simultaneously. It was reported that four person were killed in Igabi where one person sustained major injuries while three persons were killed in attack at Katuru.

The Kaduna State Government confirmed the attacks. The commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan in a statement had sympathized with families of the victims while stating that two amongst those killed in Rago community has been identified as Alhaji Ibrahim Iro and Muhammadu Rabiu and the man who sustained gunshot injury as Kamal Murtala. He added that he is currently receiving treatment at a health facility.

Aruwan said the attack on Katuru claimed the lives of three who has been identified as Michael Shadari, Clement Aura Bili and Danlami Shaban.

Speaking further, the commissioner hinted that the state governor has sent his condolence. In his words, “Governor Nasir El-Rufai noted the reports with sadness and condoled the families of those killed in both attacks, while offering prayers for the repose of their souls. He also wished the injured victim from Kajinjir village a quick recovery.”
