Authorities of the Bayelsa State Plastic Industry have revealed plans to partner with foreign investors to advance the course and mandate of the company.
The Managing Director, Ebimie Norman Niweigha, stated this to newsmen after taking a foreign investor round the factory of the company in Yenagoa.
He expressed readiness to partner with foreign investors, saying it will bring the much needed economic development to the state and the corresponding revenue.
The MD also thanked the prosperity government of Douye Diri for giving them an enabling environment to manage the plastic industry effectively.
According to him, this has attracted investors to come into the state and support the state government’s work of revitalizing the economy.
Niweigha said the beauty of recycling plastic is not just to create employment opportunities but also to keep the state clean from dirt and waste materials.
He therefore charged Bayelsans to put more effort into keeping the state clean, saying they can also make money from it, stressing the commitment of his management to meet all expectations.
The German foreign partner, and CEO of U & H Integrated services Ltd, Christian Hell, said they were open to partner with the company in the area of recycling of raw materials for the production of nylons.
He also applauded the management of the Bayelsa Plastic Industry for their operating standards and the quality production of nylons and pvc pipes.
