Goals from Favour Martins and Okardi Inikurogha in the 66 and 70 minutes gave Bayelsa United a 2-1 victory over Fc One Rocket of Akwa Ibom State in match day four of the Nigeria National League (NNL) southern conference group B2.
In the match decided at the Samson Siasia stadium in Yenagoa, Abah Abel gave the visitors the lead after a solo effort but two minutes later United leveled up through a well converted spot kick by Favour Martins.

Martains in the 70th minutes dribble through the Fc One Rockets defence line and hit a shot which came off the goal post and was tapped home by Okardi Inikurogha to wrap things up for the home side.
The victory leaves Bayelsa United with seven points from four games and they will now travel to Nnewi to face Goddoysky Fc this weekend while Fc One Rocket have only gained two points from three games.
Coach of Fc One Rocket Patrick Ndah hailed the performance of his boys despite the defeat but disagreed with the decision of the centre referee to have awarded the penalty to the hosts.
Also speaking, Technical Adviser of Bayelsa United, Diprieye Teibowei said the opponents gave his side a tough fight and blamed the slim margin to his strikers shyness in front of goal in the first half.
