Bayelsa United have approved the appointment of Meremu Okara, John Aranka and Ernest Teigbanyo Salolomo into their technical crew.
The management of the club said in a statement signed by the chairman, Ebiki Timitimi and Secretary, Ken Ekpolaemi, that the appointment of the trio is due to the aspirations of the team.
According to the statement, their experience would strengthen the technical department of the club as a result of their track records.
It added that while Meremu Okara will serve as Chief Coach, John Aranka will be the new team trainer and former goalkeeper of the defunct Sharks FC, Salolomo will take charge as goalkeeper trainer.
The statement directed the new coaches to resume immediately on Monday May 3, 2021 at the camp base in Ogboloma.
Management of the club used the opportunity to again thank Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for the opportunity given to them and promised to return the team to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
