President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after a trip to the United Kingdom.
In the UK, Buhari, along with other world leaders, attended the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education. The essence of the summit was for the global leaders to make a firm commitment to improving funding for education.
The Summit, which was co-hosted by British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson and President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya was intended to raise five billion dollars. The leaders were able to generate about four billion dollars.
The president also went for his routine medical trip while in London.
The president’s plane touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 18:45 pm today, Friday. August 13.
