Some persons who claim to have been defrauded by a Port Harcourt base forex trading company CAFINT Resources Limited has protested to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission Office in Port Harcourt demanding for the prosecution of CEO Samuel Okonkwo
The victims who carried placard to the EFCC office want the financial agent to arrest the owner of the ponxy scheme in other to return their capital they invested.
On his path, the state chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organization, Enefa Geogewill frowned on the persistence use of fraudulent way to collect Nigerians money by the so called CEOs of this forex trading.
“These are the people who invested their money to the ponxy scheme with the aim of making money from it.
“The CEO of the scheme ran away with their money, even the return on investment is not given to these investors.
“So we came here so that the EFCC will track this fraudster and investigate the matter and bring him to justice.”
He warned Nigerians to stop investing in forex trading that are not genuine in other not to be used and dumped.
“The hunger to get rich is common in Nigeria, so my advice is that Nigerians should stop investing in these online trading. The online fraudsters are too much we should be warned.
“Wait for your turn to get rich, we have had too many news on these internet fraudsters, initially it was the case of NBA forex, one Maxwell now the case of Samuel, Nigerians should learn for once.”
Our correspondent reports that some of the Placard reads: ‘These fraudsters should be jailed’, ‘Samuel Chijoke stop the lies, stop the deceit, stop the fraud’. ‘Samuel Okonkwo I cannot feed well because of you, pay us our money, lives are lost’. ‘Even Judas Iscariot returned back investors’ money’; ‘Broad day fraud should not be tolerated in Nigeria fish out Samuel Chijoke Okonkwo’.
