Recently, the blaring of the horn by truckers have become a movement against Canada’s mandatory vaccination rule.
However, Justice McLean called a stop to this particular action of blaring horns for Truckers in Ottawa.
According to the judge, “Tooting a horn is not an expression of any great though I’m aware of”, hence he gave an order that for the next 10 days these truckers should put a stop to this gesture.
The honking which had stirred angry responses from people around made local communities welcome the order of the judge.
According to BBC News, about 500 truckers participated in this gesture which is one of the ways the Freedom Convoy is venting against the mandatory vaccination of truckers before they can be permitted to cross the border.
Most of the protesters of this mandate have so far been going through this demonstrative process peacefully, nevertheless, there have been reports that some of them have been seen uttering Nazi slogans and harassing members of the community.

PM Justin Trudeau who is presently isolated due to testing positive to Covid had stated that these people’s actions opposed ‘truth and memory.
Sometime on Monday, the Mayor of Ottawa sent an open letter to the PM requesting the presence of 1800 law enforcement agents to curb the harassment that people in the local were consistently facing.
On Sunday, protesters among residents had called for the temporary stop of these actions by truckers who must have by now known how much their actions were affecting the local community.
Interview with some of the truckers showed that what truckers want is a right to choose between getting a vaccine and not getting a vaccine.
