Nigerian bred artist Cecils recently released a new single titled “I Am Africa”.
In a chat with Niger Delta Connect Cecils said the project was introduced in January 2020, to enlighten and proclaim to the world that the continent of Africa remains and will always be the future and centre of this universe.
The Abia born Igbakalam Isi crooner said:
“Africa, the land of promise. Africa, the land filled with milk and honey. Africa, the land of many opportunities. The question is, do Africans and their leaders know who they are?”
Cecils Ifeanyi Kalu who is from Ohafia in Abia state revealed that growing up in Nigeria after his first degree as a young boy, he worked with many organizations like Amicable Assurance, Aiico insurance, Aero contractors airline, Fan milk, before moving over to the United States where he studied Information Technology at Bucks County Community College and worked with other organizations like Giants and Idemia.
With over twenty singles independently produced on major online platforms, Cecils stated that he was constantly writing and making music; describing music as the real deal for him.
“It is my life and all I wanna talk about. They things that make sense to me in life are music, family, and friends”.
Cecils features the Nigeria jaga jaga crooner Eedris Abdulkareem in his latest piece of work.
