China might have to take extreme measures to see to boost its population by banning abortions that are not medically necessary just as the country had taken serious measures to ban parenting more than one child to decrease its population for the last 2 decades.
Beijing has drawn attention to abortions in the country and why they needed to be banned for the meantime so the population will increase.
Recently, the country had passed policies to encourage parents to have more than one child followed by the policy that necessitated parents having up to three children.
However, people have done so list to put these policies in action, hence, the drastic measures the China government might be about to take.

The Chinese government is setting strategies to enhance its population; some of which includes focusing on women’s reproductive health and reducing abortions based on the condition that there is no medical implication for carrying a baby.
However, more details were not given on how they were going to stop women from having abortions.
China had always made abortion legal and easy to implement which is a contrast to a lot of other Asian countries.
The only different way they had approached abortion, however, was by controlling the rate at which parents tend to abort due to the sex one-child policing the one-child policy because the country had a traditional history that saw the male child in a revered light when compared to the female.
The ageing rate of the working population has made China reached this deliberation.
Parents are hesitant about having more children as they have duties to also take care of older family members whose number outweigh the younger generation.
