The National President of Association of Christian Theological Professors, Prof. Uzoma Emmanuel has called for the ostracism of any Igbo that works against the emergence of a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction in 2023.

Prof. Uzoma made the call in an interview with newsmen in Owerri, Imo State on Thursday, May 5.
According to him, any Igbo man or woman that tries to truncate the emergence of a president of Igbo extraction in 2023 should be ostracized.
The fiery cleric maintained that Nigeria as the giant of Africa has not lived up to expectations democratically.
He accused the political class of corruption, injustice, maladministration, marginalization, nepotism and ethnicity.

Prof Uzoma expressed indignation that Igbo political leaders were working against themselves by playing the Biblical Esau, who sold his birthright.
He added that Igbo people would never accept the position of vice president because it is the turn of the South East to produce a Nigerian president.
He said, “We will never allow any Igbo politician to run for the position of vice president and anyone that tries to sabotage our efforts shall be ostracized.
He condemned Chief Uwazurike for betraying his people because of money and stressed that if Igbo people are part of this country, equity and justice should prevail without which peace and tranquility will elude the country.
The cleric urged the two major political parties APC and PDP to cede their presidential tickets to the South in order to bridge the political inequality in the country.
He also called on the president to listen to the voice of reason and release the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Uzoma, who is also the Rector of Alive Theological Seminary of Nigeria, Owerri and Presiding Bishop of Christ victorious Alive Revival Mission, Owerri called for Nigerians and Ndigbo in particular to obtain their PVCs now before it is too late.
He equally called for prayers from all religious groups for God’s intervention, saying that Nigeria’s problems are both political and spiritual.
While flaying the wanton killings in Imo State especially in Orlu zone, he advised the state governor, Hope Uzodimma to convene a meeting of the stakeholders to find a lasting solution to the ugly development.
