Nigerian comedian, MC Morris has accused popular singer Simi of snubbing him after she attained stardom in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The comedian in an Insta-story session poured out his grievances and disappointment over the fact that after he put in so much finances and effort to see that Simi becomes a relevant figure in the industry, all she could do was ignore him completely after rising to the limelight.
Sharing some old photos, he recalled how Simi repeatedly caused damages at event centres and he had to pay from his pocket.
MC Morris added that he is yet to receive any recommendation from Simi and when he invited her for his show, she demanded millions from him.
He said: “I shared my platform with you for years, went out of my way because I believed in your talent. Transported you to shows both local and international with my pay. But when life smiled at you, instead of building longer tables you built a higher fence.
“Not even one recommendation from you, even when I invited you to my show in 2016, your so-called management demanded millions of naira and you said you couldn’t override them.”
Simi is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju. She gained prominence in 2014 after releasing ‘Tiff’ a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.
