A magistrate court in Itori, Ewekoro Local Government of Ogun State, has imprisoned twelve suspected killers of the Olu of Agodo,Oba Ayinde Odetola, in prison.

Remember that on January 24, the monarch was attacked with three others while visiting a land in Agoro to remove the grave of his late brother, before being burned to death in his automobile.

About 50 hoodlums, commanded by one Gbeminiyi Sotade, allegedly stormed Agodoto attack the monarch, whom they accused of land conflicts.
Some of the suspects were later apprehended and paraded by Nigerian Police Force personnel in Zone 2, Onikan Lagos.

On Thursday, March 24, Magistrate O. F. Adeduntan issued a decree in the case, ordering the accused to be remanded in the Oba correctional facility.
The case has been rescheduled for June 17, 2022.
