Nigerian Musician D’banj popularly known as Koko Master is said to have followed the footstep of Chidinma as he and his wife on Sunday joined The Joy International Ministries as new members.
This was revealed via a post on the senior pastor’s handle on Facebook; Jerry Uchechukwu Eze on Sunday.
Pastor Jerry wrote “Such a Joy welcoming new members of the church.
D’BANJ and wife. #JesusWins”
D’Banj on the other hand took to his Instagram handle to post pictures alongside his wife and Pastor Jerry which he captioned as:
“Beautiful service, what God cannot do does not exist”.
The post has stirred up so many reactions with many hoping that D’banj would be the next ‘Chidinma’, by switching up his style of music to gospel and possibly find his footing in the work of ministry.
Some even lay claims that D’banj is from a Christian home having both parents serve as deacons in Living Faith Church.
Meanwhile popular Nigerian secular singer, Chidinma Ekile, has changed her name and identity, claiming to have rededicated her life to Christ.
The singer and songwriter, who turned 30 on May 3, 2021, said she has gone back to her first love as a gospel singer. The beautiful singer also released a new single titled “Jehovah Overdo”.
