Delta State Government has charged the Local Councils in the State to enlist the services of various security agencies and local vigilante to maintain peace in their areas of jurisdiction in order to attract more investors to the grassroots.
The state government has stated that it is willing to support and collaborate with any local government council in the state that is developing realistic economic development plans to revitalize its community.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa made the assertions while unveiling the Ethiope East Economic Development Plan held at the palace of the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, His Majesty, Mike Omeru, Ogurime-Rime, Ukori 1.
While praising the Chairman of the Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon Victor Ofobrukueta, for initiating the 20-year Ethiope East Economic Development Plan, Okowa stated that if properly implemented, the project will revolutionize the entire local government area.
