The Delta State Police Command has reportedly killed two robbery suspects in a gun duel in Ogor, Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.

According to reports, this incident occurred on Wednesday March 3, when the state police acted on an information that workers of one Zion Onofighe, a hotelier, were attacked by gunmen at his site in Ogor, Ughelli.
It was gathered that the police team had engaged the criminals in a gun duel on arrival rescued the hotelier and 16 victims of kidnapping unhurt.
The state police command confirmed the report in a statement by the Acting Delta State Command spokesman, DSP Edafe Bright who revealed that the command killed two suspected armed robbers in a gun duel.
“Patrol teams dispatched to the scene engaged the hoodlums in a duel and rescued the hotelier and sixteen workers unhurt.
“A Toyota highlander jeep was also recovered from the scene and manhunt for the fleeing suspects is ongoing.
“One AK-47 rifle with BREECH No. 19567, and two magazines with 18 rounds of live ammunition were recovered,” the police spokesman said.
You would note that efforts made by the state Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammed Ali to reduce crime in the state, is fast yielding results as the command has recorded another major breakthrough in the fight against criminals.
Just recently the state police arrested two robbery suspects and recovered 150 cartridges and other ammunitions.
