The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) would partner with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) to seek ways to boost revenues from the country’s gas resources, following the federal government’s renewed interest in the sector.
In furtherance of this objective, the Gas Monitoring Committee of the commission ably led by its Chairman, Mrs Maria Aniobi, paid a courtesy visit to the Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Mr. Sarki Auwalu.
Mrs Aniobi informed the Director DPR that the visit was to complement government’s revenue generation efforts in the area of gas utilization and that the partnership would assist in refocusing both organisations on areas they can work together.
