Some beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), have commended President Muhammadu Buhari for sustaining the programme and for appointing Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (rtd) as the Interim Administrator.
The beneficiaries were part of two separate entrepreneurship training in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, under the Seven Oaks Auction and Trading Limited.
The Seven Oaks Auction and Trading Limited is an accredited vendor under the Amnesty Office and in 2019, carried out two separate trainings on entrepreneurship for the beneficiaries and this year they have empowered them.
The empowerment programme which was in two phases, had the first batch of beneficiaries being empowered with Tricycle also known as Keke Napep, which was distributed in Yenagoa early this year, while the second batch were empowered with Thermocool Chest Freezers, Firman Generating Sets, various food items and funds for renting of shops.
The beneficiaries while praising Dikio, said he had proven to be a round peg in a round hole and has shown great capacity since he was appointed and urged him to continue in that direction.
According to them, it was commendable how the vendor’s strict adherence to laid down procedures of the Amnesty Programme ensured that all those who were part of the training were provided with the necessary empowerment items and funding.
