The former Manchester United forward Eric Cantona has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame after he been voted by fans.
He became the third player to join Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry who were both inducted few weeks ago due to their various outstanding performances.
Eric Cantona who scored 70 goals in 156 appearances for Manchester United during his stay at the club is often refer to as commanding and charismatic, a master of counter-attacking football and one of the greatest players in the Premier League.
He equally won 94 and lost 19 games with Manchester United.

Eric Cantona becomes the first Ex-Manchester United player to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame after winning four Premier League tittles in five years and two League and FA Cup Doubles.
It’s also interesting to know that the former professional footballer who played for various clubs such as Marseille, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nimes, Leeds United before ending his career at Manchester United is a French Actor, Director and Producer.
You will recall that for any player to be eligible for induction in 2021 for the Premier League Hall of Fame , such player must have been retired by August 1, 2020.
The formal Manchester United forward who will be 55 years old in six days from now retired in May1997 after spending four seasons with the club.
The Premier League Hall of Fame award is the highest individual honour awarded to players of the League.
