Following the big win of some Nigerians in the just concluded 63rd Grammy Awards, some high profile politicians in the country have taken to social media to express their satisfaction at the level of success Nigeria is making in the entertainment industry.
Recall the Nigerian Pop artist Burna boy won best global album of the year with his “twice as tall” album topping the music charts, while Wizkid won his first-ever Grammy Award with Beyonce on the song, ‘Brown Skin Girl’ off the 2019 album, ‘The Lion King.
Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar congratulated the duo on their individual awards via his social media handle, describing Wizkid as an epitome of the talent.

In the same reaction, former minister of aviation, Fani-Kayode has also congratulated the Nigerian winners, saying their win is a reason for Nigerians “to hold up our heads high and smile again!”
