A woman, Sorle Akari has cried out over alleged threat to her life by one Prophet Smile Eboh who resides in Port Harcourt, after defrauding her of N3.8 million for prayers.
Akari in an interview on Thursday disclosed that she was introduced to the Prophet Eboh by a friend she complained to about the series of miscarriage she was having in 2020.
Akari revealed that the Prophet who resides at Rumuigbo in port Harcourt, had told her to bring a total of Three Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira (N3.8Million), saying that he will use the money to consult other ‘Men of God’ that will also pray for her.
The woman stated that she sold her valuables such as jewelry and borrowed money to raise the N3.8million and gave to Prophet Eboh but she later discovered that everything done by Prophet Eboh was intended to defraud her.

She said when it became clear it was fraud, she went to Prophet Smile Eboh’s resident but found out that he has packed out.
According to the woman, Prophet Eboh resorted to threatening her life when she told him to refund the money he fraudulently collected from her under the guise of stopping the series of miscarriage.
Akari further alleged that the Prophet has vowed to deal with her if she continue requesting for the money.
Akari called on the Commissioner of Police and the public to come to her rescue.

As at press time, it was gathered that the Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday has minuted a petition sent to his office by Sorle Akari to the Human Rights desk at Police headquarters, Moscow road for investigation into the matter.
