Nigerian Singer and rapper, Falana Folarin known popularly as Falz has announced the release date for his new studio album through his social media platforms.
He disclosed that the fresh body of work, titled ‘BAHD’, will be released next month, June 9, 2022, on his official Instagram page, Falz shared images of the title and release date of the upcoming album and captioned it: “My 5th solo album, “BAHD” – OUT June 9, 2022.”
‘BAHD’ will serve as Falz’s fifth studio album, and a follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2019 project, ‘Moral Instruction’, that shook the music industry.
Falz defines his music style as ‘Wahzup Music,’ which is a fusion of comic lyrics with contemporary hip-hop in a faux Yoruba accent.
Falz is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, actor, and human rights activist who currently owns an independent record label called Bahd Guys Records. He released his debut album, Wazup Guy, in 2014. His second album Stories That Touch was released in 2015. He released 27 in 2017, and his fourth studio album Moral Instruction in 2019.
