A recent plane crash in China has caused a huge stir and families of people onboard trooped to an airport in Guangzhou in fervent anticipation for updates.

China Eastern Flight MU5735 was reportedly carrying 132 people when it plummeted into the hillside of Guangxi province.
The tragedy stirred shock and grief, and President Xi Jinping has ordered a thorough investigation into the situation.
The number of those who were impacted is yet to be known amidst fears of actual deaths.
Rescuers have been dispatched in hundreds to the crash spot where pieces of the wreckage are strewn over the hill.

According to BBC News, the plane crash had caused a forest fire that was doused but left terrible marks on surrounding trees.
Meanwhile, the families and friends of those onboard have arrived at Guangzhou’s International Airport. The plane was meant to land in Guangzhou.
A woman interviewed said her sister and friends were part of a group that boarded the plane to attend a funeral in Guangzhou.
She added that she had also booked for the same flight but had to eventually catch an earlier plane.

She conveyed how frustrated and helpless she felt.
Another man at the airport stated to the news agency that a colleague of his known as Mr Tan was also onboard.
After affirming his colleague had been on board, the man broke the news to Tan’s family. The mother had been shocked and sobbing as she promised to be at the airport.
Images revealed mourning and anticipating families waiting at Guangzhou airport.
The unverified clip showed a man slumping and wailing mournfully.
Eastern Flight MU5735 had been flying for more than an hour and was getting close to Guangzhou when it suddenly fell from a cruising height.
