The choice to collaborate with Union Systems Limited is part of the bank’s broader digital transformation plan, which has recently resulted in the launch of various new products such as PayGate Plus and Virtual Card Account.

The bank picked Union Systems’ Kachasi Trade Finance Software and Optimus Corporate Portal to streamline its trade finance operation after a thorough evaluation process that included Finastra Trade Innovation System and China Systems’ Eximbills.

The first indigenous trade finance software tool, Kachasi, automates the whole lifecycle of international and domestic trade finance processes. The Optimus portal provides a platform for customers to initiate and manage trade transactions from anywhere in the world via online or mobile.

Chuks Onyebuchi, Chief Executive Officer of Union Systems Limited, also commented on the partnership, saying, “We are pleased to be able to assist Fidelity Bank with this automation project, which will allow the bank to provide an innovative and seamless trade finance experience to its corporate clients.” This collaboration is admirable, and we are proud to have been picked by the bank as its preferred Trade Solution partner”.

Union Systems Limited (USL) is Africa’s premier provider of trade finance software. For more than two decades, the company has provided forward-thinking trade finance software solutions to African banks and corporations to achieve full automation and digitization of their trade operations.
