Global Banking and Finance magazine has presented First Bank of Nigeria Limited, one of the largest financial service providers, the 2021 “Most innovative Retail Banking App Nigeria” award.
The bank received the award in appreciation of the important roles it plays in expanding the digital banking eco-system, touching people in its host communities using technology to make learning available to persons of all ages, and assisting in the deepening of financial inclusion.
Other honors bestowed to Nigeria’s main lender include “Retail Banking CEO of the Year Nigeria” and “Best CSR Bank Nigeria.”
Adesola Adeduntan, the CEO of Firstbank, dedicated the prizes to the bank’s clients, saying the bank’s customers’ faith in it being their “first” option in satisfying their commercial and financial needs has been vital to the success the bank has achieved in its over 127-year history. He said:
