The OCR Foundation, a non- governmental Organization has built and donated a one-bedroom flat to Helen Onwumere in Nkwesi Autonomous Community, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.

The foundation which also furnished the house, had been taking care of Onwumere”s feeding, medical and clothing.
The foundation further promised to pick her bills till death.
The OCR Foundation, equally donated bags of rice to 10 widows and offered to foot the medical bills of two widows who are in bad health conditions.
The foundation also employed the services of a woman who is currently on monthly salary to be taking care of the beneficiary of the one bedroom flat, while the brother of the beneficiary, Anthony Onwumere was given some freebies such as foods and money to cater for his family.
Speaking on the occasion, the traditional ruler of Nkwesi Ancient kingdom, Eze Prof. Dele Amuzienwa Odigbo expressed gratitude to the founder, Obianuju Cynthia Ralphael for putting smiles on the faces of widows in the community.
The monarch, who was represented by Sir Chukwudi Blessing gave thanks to God for using the foundation to erect a modern one bedroom flat for Onwumere, who had been living in a dilapidated mud house.
He prayed to God to reward her in hundred folds and for the foundation to continue to wax from strength to strength.
Also speaking, a cleric, Rev Canon Eugene Onwubie, said that while he was serving at St Matthias Anglican Church Nkwesi, he usually visited members and administered holy communion to them, in order to encourage them to be steadfast to their faith.
According to Canon Onwubie, in one of the occasions he went to administer communion on Onwumere, a snap shot of the collapsed house where she was staying was taken and posted on the internet.
The cleric expressed happiness that God has remembered Helen Onwumere, through the OCR Foundation.
He prayed for the beneficiaries and foundation even as he dedicated the new house to God.
