President Macron of France declared in a report to the news agency that the President of Russia has made some assurance that there will be nothing done to diminish or aggravate the crisis on the borders of Ukraine.
Russia further mentioned that this did not convey a total guarantee but Macron claimed that the result of this talk was a securement of assurance.
Macron made the report before a visit to Ukraine for talks concerning the war.
French President landed in Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, on Tuesday after 6 hours of convening with the president of Russia on Monday.
He expressed that crucial discussions had to be constantly made in the intervention between Russia and Ukraine.
According to BBC News, the President of Russia made it known that the discussion opened ground for some progress regarding the issue even though President Macron made proposals that were quite too early to decide on.
Reports are that there will be wider discussion covering Russia’s army stationed at the border of Ukraine, and dialogue with Ukraine regarding the strategy it would be undergoing for collective security.
There is anticipation for the Russian army to leave the border of Ukraine without escalating the crisis.
President Macron is making plans to meet with the German Chancellor and Polish President in Berlin for diplomatic dialogue.
Previously, President Joe Biden of the USA had met with the German Chancellor to discuss shutting down a major Russian pipeline meant to distribute gas into Germany.
Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, had also made mention of being in support of sanctions in any case Russia invaded Ukraine.
In response to this, Germany had also stated that uniting with US and UK to place sanctions on Russia would be the right thing if Russia waged war against Ukraine.
