The new Zonal Commanding Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Zone 6 Port Harcourt, Assistant Corps Marshal, ACM Jonathan Owoade has emphasised that stamping out corrupt practices is one of his top priorities.

ACM Owoade made this known during his first visit to the Rivers State Command of FRSC in Port Harcourt, while commending the efforts of the sector commander and the personnel.
Owoade challenged the officers to be diligent in discharging their duties and promised that rewards are always associated with hard work.
Earlier, the Sector Commander FRSC, Rivers state Command, Corps Commander Salisu Galadunci stated that officers had turn down bribes from offenders, adding that non-availability of junior officers was one of the challenges facing the command.
Correspondent reported that the Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone 6 ACM Jonathan Owoade assumed office on the 4th of May 2022.

Recall that following the recent promotion and redeployment of very Senior Officers in the Federal Road Safety Corps, and his subsequent deployment to Zone 6 Headquarters, Assistant Corps Marshal Jonathan A. Owoade assumes duty as the new Zonal Commanding Officer Zone 6 Headquarters Port Harcourt in charge of Rivers, Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa States, on the 4th of May, 2022, having taken over from his immediate predecessor ACM Chidiebere Nkwonta, Esq fwc.
On his assumption of duty, the new Zonal Commanding Officer in his maiden meeting with his four Sector Commanders and Zonal Command Heads of Departments while seeking their cooperation to succeed also tasked to uphold high levels of discipline which is key to the success of every organisation.
He said without discipline nothing much can be achieved anywhere.
He challenged the Officers to improve on enforcement of traffic violators especially critical offences that could lead to road traffic crashes; ensure timely report rendition; to monitor activities of Local Government Station Officers and Tank Farmers for maximum input and data collation; and to desist from concealment of staff sickness which does no one good among other things.
