In a viral video, a Ghanaian couple cries for forgiveness after being stuck in each other while making out in Lake Bosomtwi.
The pair, who were in anguish as a result of the occurrence, were said to have cried out to their friends, who came to their rescue. The man who screamed the loudest in the video pleaded for forgiveness and screamed that the pain was intolerable.
Traditional authorities had to intervene to appease the river Gods and obtain pardon. They poured libation, presumably to beseech the gods to part the couple amicably. They were then taken to the hospital and given a variety of treatments.
According to google, Lake Bosumtwi is the only natural lake in Ghana. It is situated within an ancient impact crater that is about 10.5 kilometers (6.5 mi) in diameter. It is about 30 km (19 mi) south-east of Kumasi the capital of Ashanti and is a popular recreational area.

The Ashanti consider Bosumtwi a sacred lake. According to traditional belief, the souls of the dead come here to bid farewell to the goddess Asase Ya. Because of this, it is considered permissible to fish in the lake only from wooden planks.
