Technical Adviser to Bayelsa State Governoon Ijaw National Affairs, Dr. Felix Tuodolo has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tuodolo who hails from Delta State also served as Commissioner for Ijaw National Affairs in the administration of former Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson.
In a statement on Tuesday, the pioneer president of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), thanked Diri, his predecessor and the people of Bayelsa for the opportunity to serve in the state but added that it was time to move on.
He said: “Politically, I had the best of times in Bayelsa State where I served as Commissioner for Culture and Ijaw National Affairs, Special Adviser on Nigeria Delta Affairs under HE Senator Henry Seriake Dickson. And lately the governor, HE Senator Douye Diri appointed me as Technical Adviser on Ijaw National Affairs.
“I am immensely grateful to both HE Sen. Dickson and HE Sen. Diri for giving me these opportunities to serve the good people of Bayelsa State and the Ijaw Nation.
“But it’s time to aim higher, and to the next level of my political career. I thank the people of Bayelsa State for accommodating me especially HE Sen. Dickson and HE Sen. Diri. I appreciate all your support in and out of office. I cherish all the moments shared with you (and hopefully in the future).
“As I return to my home state – Delta State, to pursue my political ambition I only ask that you wish me well and pray for me. I move on”.
