The Governor of Sokoto State, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, has warned Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the state against rejecting NYSC members posted to their establishments.
Tambuwal gave the warning at the closing ceremony of the 2021 Batch A, Stream 2 NYSC orientation exercise at the Wammako Permanent Orientation Camp of the state.
The state governor, who was represented by the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Phillip Enatonme Enaberue, reiterated that the major objective of the NYSC is to foster unity and integration among the diverse nationality of Nigeria.

He also used the medium to reiterate that his administration would continue to create the enabling environment for corps members to discharge their responsibilities.
“This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the state and nation at large,” he said, adding that their performance could earn them special recognition and awards at the local, state and national levels.
Tambuwal also advised the corps members to stay away from vices like drug abuse, cultism and banditry.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Phillip Enatonme Enaberue, applauded the corps members for their discipline and commitment they exhibited throughout the orientation exercise and urged them to carry along their good conduct to their places of primary assignments.
Enaberue, appreciated the state governor, Tambuwal and the Chairman Wamakko Local Government Area, Mr. Bello Haliri Gwuiwa, as well as military personnel and members of other security agencies and well-meaning Nigerians for their support during the orientation exercise.
According to This Day, no fewer than 1414 corps members, comprising 714 males and 700 females, took part in the orientation exercise.
