Pastor Bolanle Ibrahim, the pastor in charge of King of Kings Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Maidan village of Ikosi, Ketu Local Government Area of Lagos State, was assassinated by unidentified gunmen.
The deceased was gunned down by assailants who stormed the church during a child dedication service, according to Niger delta connect news.

It was also learned that the attackers who broke into the church in search of the deceased brought a still photograph of the victim with them.
When approached by a Niger Delta Connect news correspondent, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, was unable to take his calls.
Mrs. Justina Alebiosu, the victim’s aunt, verified the development to New Telegraph. Mrs Justina was unable to receive news from the Niger Delta Connect.

According to her, “Before they killed him, they showed him his picture to identify if he was actually the right person they came for. His death was an unfortunate one, we have lost a gentleman. It was true we were born as Muslims, but we converted to Christianity. My thinking is that my brother had a business transaction with someone.
