2. SOCIAL PREPARATIONS: You can’t remain an introvert, you can’t remain an island. Socialise, mix up. You can never tell, that person sitting with you on that Arik Air flight could be your life partner. There are no special places to meet a good wife or husband. Candidly speaking, my girlfriend was part the panel when I was invited for an interview after I applied for a job. And guess what? Our relationship has been waxing stronger and we are hoping to take it the next level. So, prepare to mix up but zip up. Socialize with decency, don’t throw good morals and caution into the wind.
3. HAVE GOOD PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP: Your character and behaviour are everything. It matters a lot. Learn how to relate with people. Be respectful. Be courteous. Be nice. Respect people’s feelings. Don’t be an anyhow person, who never cares about what others say or think of you objectively. You never can tell who you are meeting on that your job, in the church, on that walkway. Just be nice, it does not kill.
4. PHYSICAL PREPARATION: Beloved, looking good is good business. You are addressed the way you dressed up. You can’t be looking for a decent spouse when you dress indecently. Your dressing says who you are or suggest that. You can’t say that you a virtuous lady when you look like a whore.
5. BE AN INCOME EARNER: These days nobody wants to marry a liability. Whether you are a man or a woman, be an assert and be productive. Go to school. Learn a trade. Have something doing, be resourceful. Don’t be a mere busy body. Don’t be a beggar. Don’t always hang on people to pay your bills. Do something to earn a decent living. By this you aim respect and hit your mark.
