King Solomon said ‘a good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children’ (Prov. 13:22). Experience has shown that it is not enough to leave an inheritance for your children. The estate or property of a good man may be at the mercy of some wicked family members or a subject of waste even by his biological children.
Accordingly, a good man must also plan how best his estate should be administered when he is no more hence the need to prepare a Will.
A Will helps a person to determine what happens to his properties after death; it also helps him to give any instruction he may wish to be carried out if he is no longer alive.
