Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Chukwuemeka knew professionally as Charly Boy has stated that he does not believe in the unity of Nigeria.
He stated during a recent interview with the Nations, that his submission is a result of the current happenings in the country, which have continued to reoccur over the last four decades.
According to him, there is no such thing as one Nigeria because the citizens find it difficult to understand themselves.
Speaking further the fashion enthusiast insists that he loves his life and proud of how he has unfolded over the years.
He said: “No, I don’t (believe in one Nigeria) because we are in bed with strange fellows who don’t understand us and we don’t understand them.
“No, I will do it over and over again. I love my life. I love how I have unfolded over the years.”
Charly Boy is not the first celebrity to express their disappointment over the affairs of the country, even veteran Nollywood actor RMD in a post on his Instagram page expressed his displeasure at the current happenings in Nigeria.
The actor who seems to be in a sorrowful state over the different occurrences took to his Instagram handle to reveal that for the first time in a long time, he finds nothing to be cheerful about.
He stressed that there are too many records of the death of people close to him and that the insecurity looming around as well, as uncertainty holds everyone to ransom.
