Popular singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe otherwise known as Kizz Daniel, has been dragged on social media for describing the Nigerian music industry as a ‘cabal’.
Kizz Daniel had earlier talked about happenings in the country’s music industry.
In a post on his Twitter page, he claimed that the industry operates like a cabal, stating that those who don’t belong are usually sidelined.
He said: “Be calm and locate sense, for this is not an industry, it’s a cabal, who no belong will belong. I will be Barnabas, I do it for the passion/love and I’m f**king great at it”
However, the tweet did not go down well with some of his colleagues in the industry.
Jaywon reacted to the post as he called out Kizz Daniel over his claim, adding that he should not expect to get what he cannot give.
Jaywon also noted that the music industry is not just about talent and packaging.
“Well, the industry is not just about talent alone or packaging. No be every time packaging dey work. Love and respect, love and respect people and you will be loved and respected too,” he wrote.
“You no fit get wetin you no dey give boy!!!! Las last everybody goes dey okay!! If you haven’t done 10 years in this game. Keep shut when men dey talk!!! cabal ko Kabba nii…you get what you give. So, enjoy it as e don reach you don’t know”.
