Manchester United and Spanish football international Juan Mata lost his mother Marta Garcia after an illness. Marta Garcia who have been battling with serious illness for several months, passed away on Monday according to a Spanish newspaper La Nueva Espana.
Team mates, fans and Manchester United Club have all come out to show their various supports and concerns with condolence messages around the globe as seen below:

The former Chelsea player confirmed how he was so close to his mother saying she calls me almost before all the matches I played to motivate me and even send me text messages while on pitch just to show how much she cares.
Marta Garcia had only two children Mata and his sister Paula.
The 32 year old has only appeared for Manchester United seven times in the Premier League this season. This could also be in an attempt to have time for his mother who have been sick for months and just past away yesterday.
