A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Rivers State, Tony Okocha has expressed displeasure over the inability of President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government to protect lives and properties of citizens in Nigeria
According to Okocha in a telephone interview with our correspondent, if the seat of power is no longer safe, then the entire country is in trouble.
“Nigeria is finished, if the Aso Rock is not safe, then who else is safe, which region of the country is safe? Abuja is always regarded as the seat of power and security, but by this singular act, it means even the president is not safe.
The former Chief of Staff in Rivers State also wondered why certain persons are not punished under this administration for the negligence to duties.
“We were told that few hours before the bandits came in, the commander in charge had ordered the troop to leave the camp, my question is; on whose permission is it to leave the camp without any security presence?
“And people are not punished for their negligence? People are not resigning their positions?”
